We are currently accepting applications for an experienced Bookkeeper or Junior Accountant at Absolute Industrial Mechanical Ltd., in Mission, BC.

Requirements:

• Construction experience required
• Experience with Sage Accounting software and Excel
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
• University/college education or related experience

Responsibilities:

• Full cycle accounting, including monthly financial statements, using Sage Accounting software
• Project costing
• Payroll and associated remittances
• WCB, GST and PST returns
• Accounts payable and receivable
• Monthly contract progress claims/holdbacks/stat decs
• Maintain company benefit plan
• Reconciliations of credit cards, intercompany accounts and bank accounts
• Assisting project managers
• Administration
